Theory of laser cleaning
The scientific name of laser cleaning is Laser ablation. Laser ablation or photoablation is the process of removing material from a solid (or sometimes liquid) surface by irradiating it with a laser beam.
Characteristics of laser cleaning
1) Non-contact cleaning, without damage to parts matrix.
2) Precise cleaning, with accurate location, precise size and selective cleaning.
3) No chemical cleaning fluid, no consumables, safe and environmental protection.
